Organization of the programme
Internship Experience undertakes to send 15 days before the arrival of the group or the student the detailed information of the accommodation, the collaborating companies and the programme of visits agreed with the client.
The programme is subject to last minute changes that do not directly depend on the Internship Experience organization. Students will not be able to complaint for these last minute modifications or changes.
Accommodation
Internship Experience offers the possibility of staying with host families or at student dormitories, shared flats, hostel and hotels.
Each accommodation has its own terms and conditions, please do not hesitate to ask the organization.
In the case of host families we establish the following points:
- Cleaning of the room and change of sheets, once a week
- The use of the home telephone is not permitted but the student may receive calls to this telephone.
- It is not allowed to bring visitors to the accommodation. It is only possible if the student agrees with the family and the family authorises it.
- Damage/Loss of key: The student is responsible for the key given to him/her. If the key is lost, the student will be responsible for all costs involved.
In the case of shared flats and dormitories it is important to say that the student will have to make a payment of 50€ at the entrance as a deposit that will be returned the last day after a manager checks that everything in the room is fine.
Cancellation policy
Both groups and individual students who cancel their trip will only be charged a 10% surcharge if they cancel more than 30 days before the estimated arrival date.
If the cancellation is made from 30 days to 15 days before the arrival date, the 20% will be charged.
For cancellations made 15 days or less before the start of the course, 30% of the total amount will be charged.
For cancellations made on or after the day of arrival, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
For cancellations due to denial of the Student Visa, Internship Experience will refund the total amount of the payment previously made minus 100€ for administration fees.
Warning: Depending on the type of accommodation selected and the services contracted, this cancellation policy may be altered. For example, the purchase of tickets to the Alhambra in Granada is made months in advance and is not a refundable cancellation fee. In this case, the Internship Experience team will inform the group in writing of the cancellation policy adapted to the budget sent.
Internship programme in companies
The purpose of the internship:
The purpose of Internship Experience is to offer foreign students internship placements in partner companies in Spain to improve their Spanish and to give their internships a European dimension through international cooperation. The relationship established between the European participants and the partner companies of the programme is purely formative. Never of a labor nature.
Compulsory insurance for students:
Each participant will be covered by the European Health Insurance Card (formerly E-111/E-128). In those countries where there is no European Health Insurance Card, participants will be covered by private insurance.
In addition to the aforementioned European Health Insurance Card, the participant will be covered by civil liability and accident insurance during the entire period of stay in Spain. The insurance policy will be provided before the start of the internship, which is an essential condition for the admission and completion of the project and consequently for the internship.
